Attraction
Fear of rejection
Of embarrassment and shame
Holds us back
And makes us tame
Words unspoken
Thoughts and dreams left to die
Build long bridges
While we wonder why
If I don't say it
What will happen then?
Do I wait for him?
How long? When?
Do I need to act?
Right now, before it's too late?
Do I need to speak?
Or do I simply wait?
