Aubard Poem by Neil Crawford

Aubard

Dawn smeared through night

in shades of dirty pink.

Pendulant belly of cloud breaks

over grateful, thirsty ground.

Nature, a series of mirror images

linked by unseen umbilical

Reverberates in ourselves,

leaving finite traces.
