I awaken to the morning sun
and find a new day has begun.
The breeze is cool and filled with hope
as I travel through life's slippery slope
I search deep within my soul
for direction towards an unknown goal

I've been drifting like a float
upon an endless sea
With life's external hope
will someone sail with me?

To dteer straight through the storms
and find a peaceful shore
Until the sunlight fades away
and night becomes the lure.

The beauty of the stars and sky
shine down from up above
To illuminate the hearts entwined
and ignite a new found love.
