Awareness (28) Poem by Raquel Angel Nagler

Awareness (28)

Taking off the clothes.
In the mist
I see a body that wasn't there before
Coming out of the sea in the mirror
Into another kind of solitude.
You say:
My life is a mask on my back
That I have never seen.
Wash my body tonight.
Let me drink its colors.
