Awkward Silence Poem by Bill Kamen

Awkward Silence

After a night
of partying
I accompanied
my girlfriend
to her flat.

As we
entered,
she quickly took
her black dress off.
I followed her
to the bedroom,
and removed my pants.

The room
became silent
and the awkward
turtle appeared.
