Azerbaijani IT Technician

Finally I was transferred to Baku in Azerbaijan
The polite IT Tech inquired whether
I 'd like to iron out the problem
Using Spanglish (Spanish American English)
Or some other language,
I went with Spanglish

Press this, drag that, I've found your problem, she chimed
As my computer from impending death slowly began to whine
Tapping and clicking made the silence acceptable
And in the spirit of light conversation, with a question I interjected
“Have You been to Gobustan? ”
“Petroglyph's 10,000 B.C.E and counting” in a mega second, she replied

'We've come a long way from there'
she added, I felt her words smile
“Put Your faith in human-kind
Machines are but our servants.”

My cybertrip to Baku
was coming to an end
Thanks to the IT Tech
Her insight and her wisdom.

After I rekindled my computer
Ninety nine percent of unwanted emails
went straight to Spam......
How can I ever thank her
