Back In Lisbon Poem by Francis Poole

Back In Lisbon

Though I hadn't been back
in thirty years
when I walked down Rua de Alecrim
in the dark
and reached Rua de Sao Paulo
I knew which way to turn
to find your door
proving that after all this time
my ghost
is still hanging around.
