Bad Memories Poem by Demen ...

Bad Memories

Rating: 5.0

When the fight begins, there are no thoughts of him
to the left and the right, the bloodshed is grim
though you fight on for honor, for glory and gain
the end of the fight is always the same
for the suppression of the mind, cannot be achieved
when your thoughts and your conscience are
all thicker than theives.
It haunts you, it drives you,
your eyes weep in pain, these thoughts all unwanted
are driving insane.
But in the darkness there is light,
at the end of dusk is dawn,
and your mind is your own, no matter on who your thoughts may dwell
Remember those days, when your happiness reigned
and your smile was stronger than any shield,
sharper than any sword, and the most powerful weapon of all.
Bad memories never stood a chance...
because the good ones have ur smile to defend themselves...
always and forever...
