Bare - Poem by Joseph Ivie

Wake the misery of being without you
open my eyes to the decaying paradise
shake me awake from this hated dream
make me feel the pain of loneliness
split open my heart And take it apart
completely bare I'm unaware
my wall is down
I can hear every sound
I'm vulnerable without you
I'm sensitive
I'm exposed
hang me out to dry and I can't even touch the sky
