Battle Cry Poem by Itohan Stephanie #

Battle Cry

Rating: 5.0

my heart was ready
ready to quite and run away
Away from the noise
i, even i a soldier in uniforms
Bleeding from sweat and blood

sin a cunning opponent
she has robbed men of thier stars and stolen their lives
she has robbed kings of thier crowns
and left them bare

In the heat of battle i almost forgot
yes i almost forgot WHO Sent me
i almost forgot i was a warrior
i almost forgot warriors don't run
warriors don't beg! warriors fight

Mined in scars and wounds
Sanctified in discipline
Cleaned In training
This Victory is not won by swords
This victory is won by obedience

When YAHWEH Is My Commander
The victory will not be mine to achieve
GOD Alone Has To Command It
My Discipline was my training
My Prayer is my Sword
My battle cry!
