Be Gentle, Gentle With That Cow! Poem by Charlotte Pinkney

Be Gentle, Gentle With That Cow!

Softly softly, gentle now,
Please be careful with that cow,
I don't want her to get hurt,
And please just mind that patch of dirt!

Open that door if you please,
And please do mind where you sneeze,
I really don't want her to get ill
You know she will not swallow pills!

She's just won the best of breed,
The other cows should follow her lead,
Please don't hurt her, I don't care how
And be gentle, gentle with that cow!
