Beastial Poem by Jack Ingram

Beastial

Soft footfalls following me.

Through midnight silent pine.

Trying to take me back to something bestial.

But I’m running hard.

Taking me back, to the core of humanity.

To the scarlet blood and charcoal makeup.

But I wont go.

I wont sleep on no bed of bones.
