You're shining from the river
So pale in darkness divine
With the delicate ripple
As ethereal as ever to my eyes.
As luminous as a lunar moon
I ought to see your beauty
For it to be serene
And out of this realm
My darkest pleasing vision was of you and I,
Over the horizon dragging our stone dead contorted bodies
Up the mountains of chaos.
The ocean is rising
But your hand is still in mine before
The stars fade away
One last dance before my inevitable death.
