We locked eyes again
The umpteenth time
She smiled.
A warm, inviting smile
Directly at my heart
My mind, my soul
The smile,
With telepathic notes
Saying much more
Than words could convey
The smile,
A magnetising one
Drawing me nearer,
Closer
To her
Like one in a trance
“Such radiant smile. A message of hope? ”
I queried.
“Ah! ” She blushed.
“My smile is me. It sayeth nothing.”
She smiled.
A guilty one.
A beautiful guilt.
