Because I was there

So many times boys have left me for someone new.
leaving me but not fully wanting me to go.
They told me they loved me and that i was next.
somewhere in my heart i knew that wasn't true.
but i was too 'in love' to believe it.
It wasent until i met the first true one and only love.
Walker. Ill never forget that first kiss,
first day we met, and first time we made love.
but once again he found someone new.
leavin me with the choice of friendship or haterd.
Honestly I hated what he did to me...
But could never hate him...
so I chose to bare with the nearly unbareable pain,
of a broken heart that he broke once before now again.
But I couldn't leave him...
I Truely love him...
This went on for what seemed like forever
but by his side i stood through it all
even on his birthday,
when he mentioned all he wanted for his birthday,
was her virginity...
I spent so hard the the card i made him too.
there i stood.
through it all.
now he is with me all because of my strength and love
and man i had too much for that boy.
i refused to let go...
couldn't give up.
i had to be there for him.
i love him.
and 1 year later later here we are... in love.
all because i was there.
