Because There Is No You Poem by McKenzie Mickey

Because There Is No You

You ripped my heart from my chest,
Because there is no you,
When you didn't come.

Now I'll never rest,
Because there is no you,
Until you talk now.

It's as if you took a bite,
Because there is no you,
And stole something from me.

I won't go down without a fight,
Because there is no you,
to gain it back.

And to have you listen to me,
Because there is no you
so that you know,

When you're around me im happy as can be,
Because there is no you,
But ignore me,

I will be sad,
Because there is no you,
You have to speak,

Or life will be sad,
Because there is no you
