Before The Veil Of Illusions (A Remembrance Of The Soul Before Creation)

Rating: 5.0

The Silence of Eternity

In the silence of eternity, I was a particle of light—
Gleaming within the hush of the Unseen.
There was no I, no You, no He;
Only a nameless radiance—
Turning within itself.

The Manifestation of Creation

When the breath of Be! blew,
Truth dreamed the dream of existence;
And I, becoming color,
Descended upon the bosom of time.

Every particle spoke within me,
And I trembled at my own being.

The Veil of Color and Form

Then time and space
Drew a veil across my lucid light.

Amid reflections incomplete, borrowed hues,
And metaphors untrue,
I lost myself—
A stranger, gazing into my own mirror.

The Forgetfulness of Self

The ego cast a mist upon my sight;
My essence leaned toward multiplicity.

I wandered far from my own door,
And between you and me
A distance of illusion rose.

The Call of the Light

Yet through the cracks, a whisper came—
That primal sound:

"O particle of light, remember yourself! "

On the verge of annihilation,
I turned my gaze once more toward eternity.

The Return and Permanence

Now I am neither color nor form,
Neither separate nor one;

I am that which veils itself,
And through all veils, reveals.

In the silent chamber of manifestation,
I bow in the prostration of recognition.

And when my eyes opened—
Wherever I was,
All was light.
All was I.
All was He.
