'Before We Sleep.....' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

Dear God, now I lay us down to sleep. I pray you cover us all and our souls you keep. Protect our kids both young and grown. Teach them the right path to which needs known. Keep us sane when we want to fall apart. Bless our bodies must of all our heart. Allow us all to grow stronger and closer to you each day. As we seek your kingdom when there's no more to do or say. Please humble our minds, put our worries at ease. Bless us all with your coverage, restoration, healing, and mercy please. We trust and leave everything in your care. For we know when there's no one else, you're always there. We smile tonight knowing tomorrow will be a better day. Because we'll be blessed with another opportunity to do things your way. So to sleep we go for now. Thanks for everything, gratefully your humble child. Amen😊😊
