Death,
How Sweet and how vile
tramples upon a sweet august day
and when the caravan of life
has reached its end
with life's brimming moments
i share long lost memories
held in the bosom of eternity
Behold, death is here!
upon the end of days.
i sit idle
for life had its enduring sorrows
and when the tide has taken me away
the world looks merry in its own ways.
Behold, death is here!
and all that breathes
is here to perish.
to a far off land
where nothing exists.
