Being Special - Poem by Billie Marie Branson

So I may sit in this chair
But why you going to stare
I might where these things in my ear
But this helps me hear
So I may look different to you

So I may not be able to talk
Or maybe I can't walk
But this is me
How would you feel if this was you and it was true?
So I may look different to you

But I am just like you
I breath just like you
I show my emotion just like you
I cry just like you
I am loved just like you
I love others just like you

So whats different………
I don't see no difference I just need help
When I am out and about.
So am I different……
