Belief And Confusion Poem by Taylor Seaton

Belief And Confusion

In between what is and what might be
Dreams come to ruin me.
Saying
'Wake from this walking sleep!
Come now, just believe
In anything.'

Assurance
And doubt
Play their fragile games
In
And
Out

Build their mad machines
Like a bad movie
With backwards scenes
Featuring love, death,
You
Me
The eternal things.

Alone in an ocean of creation
Dreaming.
