Better Luck Next Time - Poem by Tanequia t..

I know you hate me now
Don’t want me around any more
But I took away your frowns
I was the one who walked you threw the door

I gave you that extra support
When no one else would have gave you time
I was your one and only escort
I was number one on your mind

But you rather listen to lies
And turn your back on me
I gave you a try
How can you be blind to see

No one wanted you around
But I didn’t feel that way
Now you driving all over town
But could care less of what I say

You make haters happy
You fall for anything
Now I’m the one they want
And you going insane

Better luck next time
Realize who you need
Because still I’m doing fine
Even though now you’re back on the streets
