tomorrow you will be leaving us,
gone just like a piece of dust.

you say you will see us again
but i highly doubt that.
you tell me you never know.
but i know you better then you think i do
and i know this dream will never come true.
but still you tell me you never know if something may happen.

you always say things like this.
do you like getting my hopes up
and then watching them fall?

if what you are saying is true
then i will be able to forgive you
for all the times you made me blue.

i always forgave you
and you always forgave me.
is this how its always going to be?

if it is i hope you will return again
but if its not i just proved to you
i knew you better than you thought i do.
