Beyond The Borders Poem by simon thorpe

Beyond The Borders

Two weeks to go until the man in red arrives,
A shiny sleigh pulled by reindeer he drives,
The air will be filled with children's joy and laughter,
A quick thought though for peace thereafter.
The warmongers need to resolve their issues without resorting to violence,
So the brave of our country can finally embrace peace and blissful silence,
They keep us safe from harm every waking day,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you come what may.
