Big Jazz At Montpellier Poem by michael spangenberg

Big Jazz At Montpellier

someone to watch - something
LesPaul Guitar, Fenders, drums
trombone, bas, trumpet - saxophone
electrifying woodwind counterpoint melodies
blonde-hair flamboyant Billy singing Summertime
lazy summer evening in La Douce France
American in Paris relaxing in
out of nowhere - Languedoc
Rouge, Blanc or Rosé?
wine's quite affordable (oh la la)
$2.50 a bottle, pretty irresistible
someone to watch over me
basset hounds are howling
stray cats are singing
rhythm and blues
like old times
