Prayag Saikia

Billowing Sky - Poem by Prayag Saikia

The night doesn't have a
Tranquil past
The night is always undulating

The night worships Shiva
Shiva means dance

The God of nectar is not there at night
There is the invincible incarnation
With the poisoned blue rhythm of the tempest

I read
The sound of night created by the solar style
God of time beyond the ages
Undulating sky

The night is not tranquil
The night is not lustreless
The night worships Shiva
Dancing stars
Become alive
