Binomial's Love Affair Poem by Raymond Cabrera

Binomial's Love Affair

I dream to be that we are rational numbers,
So much alike the smile of rejoicing integers;
Though we're always amidst between the negative,
Here I am for you to just make it positive.

If I cant express to simple form my affection,
Wish it’ll appear to you as an algebraic expression;
And I guess I should add up another variable,
Like a heart-shaped symmetrical symbol.

I know this will be easy as a quick arithmetic
If you’ll learn how to solve this vicious trick.
But what I fear is if you’ll be a negative sign,
Can five plus four be equivalent to nine?

Anytime our numerals can be factored out;
Mark a slash or canceled with no doubt,
Or I'll be set aside from you to parentheses;
And I'll miss you when you're in that braces.

Just stay with me and be my coefficient;
Or you'll be my base; I’ll be your exponent,
Sooner enough we will be multiplied,
Please stand still, so we can be simplified.

But whatever we may come up to be,
Remember what term you were for me;
For you will always be my destiny,
Even were just mere numbers only.
