Biozid Poem by Pradip Saikia

Biozid

In the prison cells of the Parsi epic
Biozid was searching
For Biozid

Some bearded fellow knocks at my night's door
I ask: whom are you searching for
The stranger dwarf responds
In a deep throated voice:
You

Me?
I am searching for myself
Along the banks of the echoes
For last three decades

Have you found me
Have you

Come
Let us both search for
Jyotirmoy
In the unlit rooms
