Birds Like Rain
The birds are happy outside
their feathers are clean now they shine.
All humans are fast asleep
while nature quenches rain for it to drink.
Birds can tell us when storm is to start
we have to look for signs and learn to chart-
chart the day with an observing eye
things happen for the greater good
even if we don't why.
