Birds On The Lonely Tree Poem by amir khan

Birds On The Lonely Tree

To discuss, to share, i have a story
With the fact, bieng i was on the third storey
Looking keenly to the birds on the lonely tree
Eagerly were they crying, just as they were mind free
I asked the matter, why they are in sweat?
'Years ago', they told, 'our lives were sweet,
How good were our downs and dusks,
Like in the summer, the chill by the icy gusts,
One day when we were back from our soar,
We were not believing our eyes, the truth was sore,
Our nests were down, wood cutters were chopping,
We were crying, our hearts were broken, they were laughing,
Now we were homeless, travelling in the line of sight,
As humans were making city on the site,
You people now living in it, was once,
Home for millions of creatures like us, hence
Everyday we come here just to see these dummies,
We praise God and awarding you people our bad wishes,
You even don`t think onn the silly ways you adopt,
We are crying on our fates, trying to adapt'
Now i have got the answer, why we have no contention?
We are heart breakers, how can we get satisfaction.
