Birth Of A Dream (Inspired By Jack Vetriano's Birth Of A Dream) - Poem by Jackson Worth

So that's that finished; My Dream's born blue
Pumped up wheels - The Blue Bird No.2
Three years in the making and finally unveiled
Last lick of paint and we're ready to set sail

For this is the secret that no one has seen
One seat to take people to places they ain't been
Four circle wings will soon kiss the stone track
But for now I'm a voyeur, light a smoke and just sit back

Coz I've side-tracked every other life that I know
So I can breed, feed and de-weed this seed so it grows
And it grew from of puddle to a sky blue ocean
A hard pack of fags and some paint was my potion

She's got: A long smooth shaft,3 black zebra pin stripes
She can open her mouth and I can play with her insides
And sometimes I like to grip tight to her wheel
Soft leather skin; I like the way that her curves feel

But lately my lady says I'm loosing my grip
I'm 'obsessed with an engine', that I'm 'letting our love slip'
I herd her on the phone to her friend; 'We've got issues,
I've told him, he just stares at the paint that stains his shoes...'

'He used to send my flowers, maybe write me love letters,
But his hands are too oily to write now from carburetor's
It's since the Blue Bird's in town our love doesn't mean too much
But what I miss most now is his touch...'
