Bitter Sweet Transition Poem by MarieLove Brevil

Bitter Sweet Transition

I figure out I’m going to be
One of the great ones.
For what I’m going through isn’t just.
Lately I’m getting the type of treatment
Even the enemy doesn’t get.
If the enemy doesn’t get treated so bad
Why do I? it aches me in my bones
So deep in my bones, so deep!
When I get around and say hello
There’s no one to respond me
But they’re all here walking through me
Like lost and confused ghost
That I can see but cannot see me
Perhaps am I the ghost?
But never a day will I complain
For if things were as easy I’d wish for
I’d never had the time to reflect
To observe and mostly to appreciate…
I figure out I’m going to be
One of the great ones because I know
How it feels to have the world against one
And the universe on one’s back.
But I won’t complain, a change is in the way.
