Black Hole Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Black Hole

He brought out the best in me
When I thought I was just less
He gave me purpose, meaning
I finally felt real and solid

Til the day came when he went
I felt down, eroding
I once shone, I was shimmering
Now I’m made of cold and grey

You spun me round, I miss you,
But just like a black hole
You created to destroy
You destroyed to create
