Black World Poem by Berlyn E.

Black World

In the silence, one muffled cry made you beat
Pa flap...pa flap...pa flap.. pa flap.. it crept
Every beat pumped the tiny branches
Awakening one hope, one life

Damped with the pouring love, you grow
Cuddles, kisses, and sweet words pampered you
Always with you a tender hold side by side
You become a sun during the day and a moon at night

When young, one wants things his way
Thinking it's bright, you ran on the same ray
You went wild and unstoppable without looking back
You lived on your own, you followed your track

Dancing in the deafening noises and blinding lights,
You thought you were god who own the nights
But when alone, you are drowning without water
You were grasping for breath when there was air

Then, you found yourself in the darkness
Chocolates, kisses, and heels could not ease the loneliness
You were in your world, no noises and all black
Walking non-stop but you were still stuck

You got used to your world, the other one slipped your mind
Cuddles, kisses, and sweet words were forgotten
The tender hold no longer bears a meaning
You stayed in your black world as the fighting became tiring

For once, the pa flap...pa flap...pa flap brought so many smiles
Exhausted. Gasping you stopped the same sound
The end of your black world darkens those who held your hands
You thought you ended it, think wisely, they just moved
