Blame Poem by P K Joy

Blame

My darling loves to blame others
for her stupidity.
She has a passion for self-exoneration,
despite its futility.
Most of the times, I’m the victim.
Other rare times
She would catch other preys and
impute the blames.
When she fails to get around
a human to blame,
She would turn to nonhumans,
with no sense of shame.
And when there’s no cause,
she invents a cause of action,
Creates a victim to blame,
and obtains satisfaction.
One day she picked up a stone
from the street,
Placed her toe on a mile-stone,
and, till it bled, she hit it.
And for her bleeding, crazily
she blamed the milestone!
In blaming others for own blunder,
my dear darling is not alone!
