Blank Pages 07 Poem by Kira Bloom

Blank Pages 07

Rating: 4.5

In this, a blank page, lays my torment.
My soul seems to cry and unleash its chaos,
But the words will not come.
So many emotions, too many memories collide.
They fuel my confusion, and invoke the pain.
What of my passion?
What of my desires and will?
How can it come so easily in silent moments,
Among deaf ears, but in my solitude remain unearthed.
A hope lingers, so frail I fear a whisper will take it.
An anger burns still emptiness swallows it.
In all my dreams I find remnants of reality.
I wake with the knowledge that my nightmares are ordained
And my fantasies are illusions.
