Blend Of Friendship Poem by Monique Mendoza

Blend Of Friendship

This one's for my best friend who is currently residing in another country. I gave this to her on our first anniversary of being best buddies.

A mixture of bees' gold-
Yellow and brown
Nonetheless eternal eons unfold,
I still won't let you frown.

A majestic violet
From blue and red,
Makes me not forget
The memories we shared.

For the shade of pink
Through scarlet and white,
With His carnation light,
Our kinship will never sink.

Now with fate-blended people,
YOU and ME,
Mingled hues stipple
The complementary colors of our harmony.
