Blessing Poem by Ivory Harris

Blessing

I am sacred to go to sleep at night for fear of waking up in the morning & it would have all been a dream that we were together. To wake up next to you every morning is a blessing inside a blessing. I never thought that I would have fallen for you the way I have. You make every breath worth breathing. If you were to walk out of my life at this moment I would sure to die. When we met I had no clue that I had found love beyond anything I have ever known. I don’t know if I tell you this enough but I love you. I need you like a newborns need their mother, like the flowers need the sun. That’s how bad I need you. We have been through a hell and high water and made it through. We can make it through anything.
