Blind Date Poem by Donna Saphier

Blind Date

We met one night
It was raining and cold
You must meet up
We both were told

We loved each other
At first sight
I never believed
That could be right

He held my hand
And kissed my head
I don't recall
Many words being said

We held each other
All night long
Now ten months on
Were still going strong

We are so happy
Were doing great
He's not only my lover
He's my best mate
