Blood Red Poem by Ian Keenan

Blood Red

Vapour trails,
Pink,
More than the
Blue and white of
Skinny clouds;

On flights to who-knows-where,
From Birmingham and
Gatwick.

My heart beats,
Blood red,
Greater than the
Black of death,

Thankful I live.
