Blue View Poem by Howard Osborne

Blue View

BLUE VIEW

As a soft breeze blows the net curtain
Everything I see is a pale shade of blue
It exposes a scene of which I'm certain

Never before have I seen such a view
A sky full of butterflies, it would seem
All recently emerged, proud and new

I remain unsure, as I stand and dream
By a window, opened up to the world
A message for me, or just some meme

Each fly free, since wings have unfurled
Silently flapping, and fill the air outside
As a new time around them has swirled

Almost a miracle that they don't collide
So many thoughts, so difficult to decide
