born and raised to be a man told to
stand up and love myself be true to
myself and by true to others
shown that a man is worth how he
is to himself such as my gold is worth my
heart.
so when im ready to take off and fly
by not drive by but be the man that
will get going and see through the
world so i was born and raised a man

born a boy told to grow up and be seen
not be dumb and thuggish educate my mind
told to grow with the smarts of life and show
what i need to show get.

born a male that comes from a different country
stand up differently from the rest so i was born
and raised differently
born to a land where they proud of you where
they show you off and let you get off with a
little smile and with a great happyness
