Borrowed And Blue Poem by Asma Khan

Borrowed And Blue

I raise my hands every day
you stand before me as an answer to that pray

Neither I nor you want me
then let's set each other free

I don't question worldly wealth
it's only love that's set on a stealth

Do I wish for jewels and kingdoms?
happiness can't be found even in asylums

Confess that now promises do not suffice us
what matters, is there is no fear inside us

My heart is in a turmoil
there is nothing left in life to spoil

I have not closed the doors for you ever
neither could you show me your heart clearer

Did I not honor my words?
stood beside you despite all hazards

Don't curse me for this decision
for I was not ready for any submission

The lines between right and wrong could be blurry
Endings aren't always neat and lucky!
