Boundaries Poem by Nick F. Hawkins

Boundaries

We've been arrested
Before our development,
Individualistic ambition chained
To dogmatic decisions,
The veil of passion only opens
Half way in schools prison,
The early chapter where we are brain
Washed about life and how to live it,
Where the future is artificial
And boundaries are set
And limited,
We've been contrived for
A long term arrested development
While our souls cuffed
And our consciousness manipulated
Into an disguised embezzlement
