Boundaries of Mine

In realms of heart and soul,
I draw the lines, whole and bold.
A safeguard for my inner space,
To protect my peace, my sacred place.

I remind myself, every day,
To prioritize my own way.
Not to overgive, nor to drain,
But to preserve my heart's sweet rain.

No more pouring out, unchecked,
Leaving me drained, and wrecked.
I set the limits, clear and bright,
Respecting myself, day and night.

My worth isn't measured by the load,
I carry for others on the road.
My love and care, I will impart,
But wisely, with a guarded heart.

I learn to say the sacred 'No',
Without guilt or apology to show.
For in asserting my boundary lines,
I honor my own precious shrines.

In setting limits, I find my strength,
My identity, free from length.
I safeguard my emotional shore,
And welcome love that respects more.

So I'll tend these boundaries with care,
And prioritize my own repair.
For in loving myself, I'll find,
A love that's healthy, pure, and kind.
