Break Up Poem by Jamey Davidson

Break Up

I guess what they say is true, history repeats itself. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe I need to rethink my plans or just leave the game. Past relationships are no longer memories, more like stains. I thought I could find passion, all I found was pain. Now I can't even trust, this girl has drove me insane. I should have never went back, maybe I'm the one to blame. It always starts out great, excited to see each other. A month goes by and we can't stand one another. I try to leave and it all comes out. You tell me not to go, you scream and shout. You give me your speech, trying to apologize. I know better then that, your always full of lies. Thinking of excuses for hanging out with another guy. Pushing me 'till I snap, but you'll never see me cry. These tears don't fall for your heartless soul. Being with you made all emotions dull.
