Brittany's Poem - Poem by Mark Anderson
Growing up is like being a bird,
Leaving your nest for the first time.
Afraid of what may occur,
Not knowing what you may find.
Be brave little bird,
And know in your heart,
That your parents loving words,
And courage will set you apart.
Spread your wings,
and head for the sky.
Then suddenly landing,
And not knowing why?
Well your first flight didn't go as planned,
But now you know what life demands.
It requries a leap of faith-and,
Loving parents and God's helping hand.
