Do you feel it?
The slow decrease in the gravity that pulls us together
Every minute I can feel myself getting used to being away from you
It turned from hard to tolerable to easy
The drift was almost unnoticeable...almost
But I can feel it
Like how a hand slips ever so gently
And eventually you realize you're not holding hands anymore and you try to remember when exactly it disconnected from your palm but you can't figure it out.

Like how you smile less and less at the jokes told and one day you stop
smiling completely but you can't pin point exactly when it happened.

Do you feel it?
I been wanting to be silent
Hoping this motion would reverse itself and we'd go back to how we used to be
But that seems pointless
The current is too strong and it keeps carrying you farther and farther away from me
I understand now I can no longer reach,
And so I have decided to stop trying
...Forgive me.
