Broken Butterfly Poem by miranda shaffer

Broken Butterfly

So strong yet so fragile
If only you could see your beauty
The color you bring into life
Yet your wing is damaged
Strength seems to have vanished
Hope seems an impossibe feat
Don't give up
Flap your wings and carry on
Crawl if necessary but hold tight
Everyone wants you near
Never doubt yourself
Things get better so be strong
One day you'll help make the rainbow
Even with broken wings you'll learn to fly
