Brother Martin - Poem by Adrian Wait

My brother Martin,
Forgiveness your gift
Grace outpoured
Faith in action, Love
Unearned suffering
Redemptive, oh why,
Why are dreamers slain,
Darkness preferred
Hatred crowned
Forgiveness condemned
Force and power
Might is right
Meekness ridiculed
Love crucified
From the mountain top
Do you see, do you see?
Is the Dream, a reality?
